NASA captures images of frost on Mars? Mind Blowing discovery

Even Mars right now is showing signs of winter. NASA has recently released photos of frost on the red planet. The reconnaissance orbiter captured the photos of sand dunes covered by frost.

The frost is a mixture of carbon dioxide, dry ice and water and will disappear in a few months. Once spring arrives, NASA's Mars reconnaissance orbiter can peer through cloud cover using its Mars climate surrounded instrument, which detects light and wavelengths imperceptible to the human eye.

That capacity has permitted researchers to identify carbon dioxide snow tumbling to the ground.
